Settimo anniversario primo volo Albastar

From late July to mid-September weekly connections every Tuesday to the Balearic Islands and every Thursday to the island of Sicily.

31.03.2021 – Three new connections from Cuneo Airport operated by Albastar. Indeed, from 27th July, the Spanish airline will add two new routes to Spain, flying to Palma de Mallorca and Menorca. And that’s not all: from 29th July, the airline will also operate a new connection to the island of Lampedusa. The flights will run weekly until mid-September, every Tuesday to the Balearic Islands and every Thursday to the island of Sicily. The new triple weekly connection between Cuneo and the most beautiful islands of the Mediterranean Sea over the summer is an excellent opportunity for fans of crystal clear waters living in Cuneo and throughout the North West, who will thus be able to discover new seaside resorts thanks to the wide range of air routes departing from Cuneo proposed by Albastar.

“Palma de Mallorca, Menorca and Lampedusa, add to the existing connection with Trapani, bringing the number of destinations served directly from Cuneo Airport to four. Albastar thus becomes as an important point of reference for leisure tourism departing from Cuneo with particular emphasis on incoming flights to Piedmont from Sicily and the two Spanish islands – comments Giancarlo Celani, Sales Director and Deputy CEO of Albastar -. The new connections are the result of a joint effort by the airline and the airport, aimed at creating a quality product consolidated over time”.

“The new routes to Palma de Mallorca, Menorca and Lampedusa are emblematic of the closer and more extensive collaboration between Albastar and Cuneo Airport – underlines Anna Milanese, General Manager of Cuneo Airport -. Albastar’s passengers will be able to conveniently reach the most exclusive destinations in the Mediterranean from Cuneo in less than two hours. Being able to launch these new routes in the midst of the summer season means being able to meet the desire of the general public to return to travelling and getting away after the long periods of travel restrictions”.
